Le Lledoner Pelut tient son nom des poils sur les feuilles. Cette variété est très résistante à la sécheresse, elle s’adapte bien à des sols arides et est moins sensible aux parasites. C’est une mutation de grenache noir native de Catalogne.
Les vins extraits de ce cépage ont un taux d’alcool plus faible que les autres variétés de grenache. léger au palais et aux arômes de fruits rouges. Une intensité couleur moyenne qui peut s’oxyder rapidement.
