Peluda Grenache | Garnacha Grenache

The Hairy Grenache gets its name from the hairy leaves, this grape variety is resistant to drought, it adapts well to arid soils and is less sensitive to pests, it is a mutation of the Red Grenache and is native from Catalonia.

The wines extracted from this grape have a lower alcohol content than the other varieties of Garanacha. Medium acidity, light on the palate and aromas of red fruits. Its chromatic intensity is medium and has a rapid oxidation

PAIRINGS WITH HAIRY GRENACHE

Wines made from Garnacha Peluda (Hairy) are a great pairing for dishes that do not carry much flavoring. Ideally, combine it with onion confit stuffed meat. It is also ideal to accompany the dessert, such as tiramisu with coffe hints.
